DUI Lawyer Serving San Diego, California

Are you an out of state driver who has been arrested for DUI in California? An attorney at our firm may be able to assist you. At Superior Law Center, we represent clients from other states in DUI proceedings throughout San Diego County. You may have been visiting our state on vacation or for business reasons, and were arrested for drunk driving or a related offense. By contacting a San Diego DUI lawyer immediately, you can make sure you are protected against a conviction.

In taking on an out of state DUI case, we work to limit or eliminate the need for you to appear in court, meaning that you may be able to return home while we handle your case without worrying about coming back for one or more court appearances.

About Out of State DUI Charges & License Suspension

If you are a resident in another state and are pulled over and arrested for DUI in California, you may face repercussions in California and in your home state as well. While you will face criminal charges in California, you may also face driver's license suspension in the state in which you reside. California law enforcement does not have the authority to confiscate your out-of-state driver's license, but you will still be served a notice of suspension. This suspension would affect your driving privileges in California, but not your home state driver's license. If you are subsequently convicted of DUI in California, however, your home state will be informed of your DUI offense and will then have the authority to suspend or revoke your driver's license.

Arrested for DUI in San Diego County, but you live in another state? Contact a San Diego Out of State DUI Attorney today to learn more about fighting these charges and avoiding a conviction.
