Man Who Left Family at DUI Crash has Sentence Delayed
Sentencing was recently reschedule to Tuesday, December 28 for a parolee who crashed his vehicle into a parked van while high on drugs and then fled, leaving behind his wife, uncle and 9-month-old baby. KB Jr., age 28, crashed his vehicle in the 4100 block of Clairemont Drive in San Diego around 2 a.m. on September 5. All three of his family members were hospitalized but the baby, who was in a car seat, was not seriously injured.
Biggs pleaded guilty last month to a felony DUI, misdemeanor child endangerment and a hit-and-run causing injury. The defendant has prior robbery and drug convictions and will be sentenced to a stipulated eight years and four months in prison next month.
